A Victorian Lit Fanart Round-Up, Part VI

Gabriel Utterson (from The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Hyde) answering the door in the middle of the night. Hopefully it's not to get the news that someone has been murdered with the cane that his dear friend Henry Jekyll carries around! (Spoiler: it is.)

More of my drawings! (See others in the series here.)

Someone on Tumblr requested Ishmael from Moby Dick rambling his narrative while getting his nails painted at a sleepover. This was WAY too hard to draw! LOL.

Another Tumblr request: Jonathan giving Mina a "large-bore revolver" as they prepare to part ways for their final stage of the journey tracking down Dracula (bullets can't hurt a vampire, but there might be wolves, so Jonathan insists that Mina get a gun, too!). I ended up having my husband and my sister pose for this one since I couldn't find a reference online. They were both giggling the whole time while I yelled, "Sadder! Sadder! Look like you're in love!!"

A sketch of Captain Nemo I doodled on a letter to a friend.
