Modern Carrot Art

Step 1. Cut up carrots into carrot sticks.

Step 2. Place them in a whisky glass with 1/2 inch water in bottom.

Step 3. Leave overnight on the bottom shelf of your 1970’s avacado-colored refrigerator.

Step 4. Remove from glass and admire.

  1. I think it should be dubbed 'Change'. As a piece of art, it really speaks of the artist's struggle with contemporary values and the feeling of being trapped within one's own zeitgeist. The sliced carrots demonstrate the severing of traditional domestic roles, the ice the desperate struggle to break free and move--whether that movement is forward or back is open to interpretation and invites the viewer to share in the artist's mental struggles.

Also it's a pretty orange colour.
