A Victorian Literature Fanart Roundup

The cast of "Dracula!" Left to right: Jonathan Harker, Mina Harker, Lucy Westenra, Arthur Holmwood, Quincey Morris, Jack Seward, Abraham Van Helsing, and R.M. Renfield

I've been drawing a lot lately! I started with the Dracula-themed Inktober art, but I haven't stopped making fanart since, branching out to the other Victorian books I've been reading lately (and one I haven't), as well as taking drawing prompts from fellow literature enthusiasts. Here are some of the results!

One clerk and two solicitors who are Not Paid Enough to Deal with This Nonsense: featuring Robert Holt (from "The Beetle," which I haven't read), Jonathan Harker from "Dracula," and Gabriel Utterson from "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"

The villain in Robert's story stole his clothes, so Jonathan and Gabriel took him to the mall to get him dressed.
But it was winter, so he needed more clothes. Truly the greatest work of art I've ever done!

Jonathan Harker and excerpts from his journal at three places in the book

Arthur and Jack babysitting their nephew

Mina kissing Quincey. This one actually happens in the book— there is a lot of kissing, both platonic and romantic, in "Dracula"!

Mina kissing Jack, because I say so

Gabriel Utterson and Mr. Poole gearing up to fight Hyde in "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"

Ishmael, the narrator of "Moby Dick," is... intense. Reading the book via email newsletter is a bit bizarre but also very fun!

Conseil and Ned Land have a chat on the top deck of the Nautilus, in "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea"

Point of view: you are a cashier at Wendy's and you accidentally put pickles on Mina's sandwich
