As for the final question, though, no I haven't been in a guitar store commercial (although that would be cool!). I must confess that my primary instrument in violin (and then piano). I had a mandolin for a while, but my sister played it so much better than I did that I ended up giving it to her. ;)

Anyway, keep an eye out for an "FAQ" entry soon!

Cheers,
LisaLisa Straderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13356754383484813597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1212444187970080061.post-41483639887902777152015-10-21T11:24:19.491-07:002015-10-21T11:24:19.491-07:00Dear Lisa-

I want to follow in your footsteps summer of '17, and found your honest appraisal of both the joys and hardships to be much more "real" than the average account where the weather is always beautiful and the mood always sunny. I really think I know what to expect now. Thank you.

A couple of questions...

Did you ever figure out what Zach's persistent stomach issues were all about?

What would you do differently?

And finally, were you in a Guitar Store commercial? I was watching TV late at night a couple of months ago and I would swear I recognized you in the ad from your blog picture (I have a pretty good eye for faces). I saw the ad a couple of times, and I'm sure the person was playing a mandolin :)

Anywho, congratulations on finishing the trail and on completing your journal. You will never regret the time you put into it. I'm looking forward to reading tomorrow's entry!
-Bob Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
