Epic Trip Out West, Day Twenty-Eight: Reading

Two random notes from today:
1) I spent the morning at the college where Kristy M. teaches, and a solid hour of that found me curled up in a reading nook in the library with a collection of G.K. Chesterton’s essays on my lap. I read the first 50 pages or so of “Lunacy and Letters,” and my mind was blown at least six times. Bliss.
2) In the afternoon, when I was watching the kids, I managed to read two chapters of Thoreau’s “Walden” while balancing a baby on my hip and keeping the escape-artist two year old from getting out of the house. I think I’m getting better at this whole kids thing.
